When adults volunteer, all students benefit! There are many opportunities for parents and community members to get involved!  Your help is needed!  Complete the Volunteer Interest form and we will be in touch with you.

There are so many options to volunteer through PTA! Here are some brief descriptions of our various volunteer options in school. Don't forget we can always use help with our PTA fundraising efforts too!

Art Docent Program art@ivepta.org

The Art Docent Program is volunteer led art instruction. Docents teach approximately eight lessons a year in grades K-5. Our Art Docent Program Chair provides a TON of information to make being a lead docent a wonderful experience. Not up for leading this year? We still need lots of helpers to work with students and make this program a success!

Book Fairs president@ivepta.org

Our Scholastic book fairs in the fall and spring given students, fames and staff the opportunity to add to their at-home and classroom libraries. We rely on volunteers to assist students, run cash registers and make the book fair an overall success.

Dads and Dudes of IVE (DIVE) president@ivepta.org

A group of parents and community members committed to meeting the needs of our students and community by serving as positive male role models on campus. DIVE currently volunteers monthly at recess.

Family Ambassadors president@ivepta.org

A group of volunteers dedicated to welcoming new families to Issaquah Valley Elementary and help ease their transition into a new school.

Gardening Program garden@ivepta.org

Growing Great Gardeners is a PTA sponsored enrichment program designed specifically for first grade students. Children learn about plants and the importance of nutrition while practicing simple gardening techniques using sustainable methods. 

Multicultural Fair president@ivepta.org

The IVE Multicultural Fair is an every-other-year family event filled with fun and multicultural entertainment. It is a wonderful way to connect with other IVE families, and to experience our rich diversity. Does your family have a tradition you'd love to share with our community? If so, consider hosting a booth at the Multicultural Fair!

Popcorn Fridays president@ivepta.org

A sure way to see a bunch of smiling students is to serve on the team that pops and delivers popcorn during afternoon recess each month on Popcorn Friday!

Trunk or Treat  president@ivepta.org

We are always looking for "trunkers", our volunteers who creatively decorate their car trunk & themselves and act as treat givers to lots of kids! Trunkers make our event a success!
