Staff
Appreciation: Contribute a yummy entree or dessert to our monthly
grade-sponsored lunches for the teachers.
Help show our teachers how much we care!
Book Fairs:
Book fairs happen twice a year in the library and volunteering is a great
way to help our kids find good fit books!
The Fall book fair also provides funds to help Mrs. Ritchie buy new
books for our library.
Popcorn: Be
the most POPular parent at school! Pop and sell popcorn to the kids during
lunch recess on Fridays. This is
a great way to get your feet wet with volunteering if you are new to the
school community!
Vision/Hearing:
Help administer vision and hearing tests to students in the fall.
Salmon Day
Parking: A great opportunity
for Dads to volunteer! Come park cars and help make money for our school
during the Salmon Days festival.
Field Day:
Also one of the most fun days at school. Come help the kids enjoy a day of
fun on the field and playground in June.
Help set up, lead games and clean up.
Additional
Opportunities:
Art Docent:
Be a part of a school-wide team that
helps bring art to our children's classes. Docents lead art lessons for each
class about once a month.
Materials and lesson plans are provided.
No experience necessary.

Outreach: We need help
collecting, organizing and delivering donations to local charities including
the Giving Tree in December and other events throughout the year.
