Math Adventure is returning to IVE!

On Friday, March 23, 2018, Math Adventure will be returning to IVE for a night of math puzzles and theater – this year’s theme is “A Cold, Creamy Crime!” This math night is dedicated to making math fun in a very unique way. Teams of 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th graders work together to solve puzzles which reveal clues – and those clues unlock the theatrical “adventures” which kids love. For more information, look for the paper kid mail flyer that already went home, or download the flyer from the PTA Math Adventure webpage or attend the Parent Information Night scheduled for Wednesday, January 17, 2018 from 7-8pm in the MPR.

Did you know that the biennial auction is one of our largest fundraisers and helps to support and fund many programs for our students and staff at IVE including educational field trips, art docents, science fair, garden docents, an extensive multi-level book collection and essential PE equipment?

We know you're already ready to join us at the event, but of course, the fun part is bidding on cool stuff! In order to make that as awesome as possible, we need everyone's help. Do you have something to donate (iPad, XBOX, Apple Watch, Nintendo Switch)? Do you own a business or have connections to some awesome items for our auction (think experiences: birthday parties, time at Flying Circus, Summit at Snoqualmie Lift tickets, a stay at Suncadia or Seabrook)? Do you have an abundance of airline miles or credit card points that could be converted into airline tickets or hotel stays? Or maybe a unique and priceless experience that you could offer (do you fly a helicopter, know a celebrity or a Seahawk/Mariner, can you get us backstage at Macklemore shows?)? If you think you can make something cool happen here, please contact our procurement chair, Alex Rosenstein, at You can also submit a donation online at:

If you're thinking - "gosh, I don't know Russell Wilson or have a way to get cool stuff to donate", you can still help! We are still looking for corporate and/or family sponsorships! There are four sponsorship levels to choose from and may include an ad in our auction catalog, vocal recognition from our MC/Auctioneer, logo/family name listed on the school bulletin board, AND/OR recognition in E-News and Facebook! Please email Lizz Eng at for any sponsorship questions!
Any other auction questions, please contact the Auction Co-Chairs - Renee Barnes, Miriam Corlett, Lizz Eng, and Alex Rosenstein at
If you would like to book a room for the night of the Auction, please use the link below for 10% off the daily rate of the day you book! Please DO NOT call in because they will not apply the 10% discount.
