What is the Issaquah Valley Elementary School PTA Auction?

Held every other year, this event raises money to help fulfill the mission of the Issaquah Valley Elementary PTA – to enhance the educational experience of children and their families. Our auction enables us to fund critical programs such as science fair, art docents, garden docents, educational field trips, an extensive multi-level book collection and essential PE equipment such as the rock wall and playground equipment. The event consists of a silent and live auction along with some fun games too!

What is included in the ticket price?

Tickets are $75 each or $150 for a couple (shared bidder number). Your ticket to the auction includes appetizers, a drink ticket, a plated dinner (your choice of chicken, steak, fish or vegetarian), after party and a swag bag. Ticket sales end April 11.

Who is invited?

All friends and family are welcome and encouraged to attend. You don’t have to be a IVE parent or staff member. This is an adult-only event. 

What should I wear?

Our theme is Hollywood – Lights, Camera, Auction. We encourage you to get dolled up and dress up in cocktail attire.

Can I sit with friends?

Yes! When you purchase your tickets, you’ll have an option to request friends that you would like to sit with. We will do our best to honor requests.

What is the schedule for the event?

5:30-7:15 Silent Auction plus Appetizers, No-Host Bar, Games and Sign Up Experiences

7:30-9:30 Live Auction plus Plated Dinner and Dessert Dash

9:30 – 11 After Party with a DJ

When should I arrive?

We recommend arriving at 5:30! We’ll have a few opportunities that are first come first served such as our One Bid Board filled with restaurant and retail gift cards. No bidding required. First bidder to sign up wins the gift card!

What is the Wine Pull?

During the silent auction, you’ll have a chance to play our Wine Pull game. Cost is $20 per pull. You simply draw a number to find out which bottle of wine you’ve won. You never know, you may win an inexpensive bottle or a very expensive one! But one thing is for sure, you will get a bottle of wine.

What is a Dessert Dash?

We’ve procured a wide variety of amazing desserts for the auction and they’ll all be on display during the live auction. Each bidder will have a chance to bid on their dessert and the table with the highest cumulative bid will get first pick of their dessert. But they’ll have to pick quickly because our auctioneer will start calling up the next highest group and then the next!

Yes! If you would like to book a room for the night of the Auction, please use the link below for 10% off the daily rate of the day you book!
